About JLH Design...

Judi L Hendricks, Principal Consultant

...has been specializing in case report form design for the pharmaceutical research industry for over twenty years, both as a full-time member of Data Management research teams (1987-1997) and as a freelance design consultant (1997–present). Judi has worked with dozens of research firms studying medical indications ranging from asthma to infertility to oncology, giving her a wealth of experience from which to draw.

Prior to moving into pharma research, Judi worked as the database liaison (“Help Desk”) at a publishing house, writing training documentation for proprietary publishing software and acting as the in-house corporate trainer for 50+ data entry operators, an amazing proving ground for honing her communications skills.

Her formal education began at DePaul University with a concentration in Psychology. She has been published in the National Association of Desktop Publishers Journal, and Computer Graphics World Magazine. As a silver artist, Judi has co-authored a “How To” book, Silver Clay Keepsakes, with Katie Baum, and published several articles on the ArtClayTM medium in Fired Arts magazine.

Marian Barrow, also has a background in psychology, earning her degree in 1992 from San Jose State. She came to JLH Design from the field of confidential medical records and transcription, and her orientation to detail and ability to see aesthetic imbalance, along with a strict adherence to confidentiality, makes her our favorite proofreader/designer.

Robert Stotts hails from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. His design skills range from high tech to fine art. He has created exhibits for the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee, WI, and the John G. Shedd Aquarium’s Oceanarium in Chicago. In his free time he paints Impressionist oil portraits and teaches oil and watercolor painting.
